    Hey there.

I was thinking of putting in a very short shot of a Fly's point of view in my next movie. Its going to be quick maybe under a second. How would you go about doing this.

I want to see hundreds of tiny views of the same room on screen.

I honestly have no idea how to do it. I just think it wil add to the paranioa of the scene to cut to the P.O.V of this tiny annoying spider thats in the room.

    Help me here guys.

    Despin out.

get a special effects filter that works like a kalidascope (spelling bad) called a multi-vision, check out Hoya.co.uk. Jessops.com or CameraFilters.com - that will split up the image up into hundreds of small images like a flys eye!

    Hey there.

Ive just seen some pictures taken using that kalidascope lense. Its exactly what I was looking at. I would have rather have done it in post. But if i can rent one very cheaply that will be great (this is only a tiny shot).

Any ideas of how to do this is post anyone?

you could do it in premier.
depends on what exactly you are looking for.
You can do most things in premier if you use your imagination.
If its a fly's view I guess you need an octagonal or hexagonal mask, over lay as many as you can/want in different places and then swirl it around a little, using the motion filter

You could do this in Premiere by applying motion tile but without keyframe. Then warp it in a cirle (not sure what it's called) and you'd get a pretty decent fly pov.

    Hope this helped,
    Levi
